Hike to Mira’s Village
We will wake up early today and pack up our day bags for two nights in Mira’s village and for the big race day. It is a camping trip so we will prepare accordingly. We will have local porter support for the group but if you want an individual help, you may hire one.
We will be hiking up and gaining elevation today. Our pace will be enjoyable so we can gaze at the beautiful mountains and get friendly with the terrain. The hike is of about 8 km and will last around 5-6 hours.
We will finish the hike at a local school in Mira’s Village where our camp and hot lunch will be waiting for us.
For the rest of the day, we are free to explore the village or help out with preparations for the following day’s race. In the evening, we will have a small bonfire and some cultural fun evening with the runners who will be camping with us. We will have a locally prepared dinner and few moments of race briefing before we call it a day!
Hike for 8 km (you can choose to take a bus in case you aren’t up for it, but let us know)

Day 5 Saturday 16th February 2019
Race Day! Choose to race or volunteer!
Today we will be racing or volunteering!! You can choose between 36 km,8 km or 3 km distance.
Before that, we might have to wake up super early with the early morning sun and be prepared to eat the breakfast at military standard discipline (well, that sounds utopian for Nepali standards).
We will try to manage having the Mayor and other big shots of Bhojpur on time and start the race at 8:30 am. The race will be well marked and will have checkpoints at designated points to keep you fuelled and hydrated.
At the finish, you will be received well with some local customary honoring process with Tika and Khada, after which you will be served lunch.
We will conduct the prize distribution ceremony and wrap up the race after the last runner has finished.
We have an evening free to pack up for next day. We will take it easy and maybe enjoy the bonfire around the camp with an interactive session and dinner before we retire for the night.
